Autobody work is expensive no matter how you look at it, but at list with Rob Leblanc you don't have to remortgage your house!! He did some work on my CRV and not only can you not tell that there was ever anything wrong with it, but he delivered it quickly, courteously and on budget. I'd highly recommend his work.

They've taken a once dinghy diner and upgraded the decor without losing the retro diner feel, then came up with a great, if not somewhat overwhelming menu and coupled all that with upbeat urban music (or at least the that was the case the night I was there). They have a decent wine list (including a Nova Scotian white - which always get's kudos from me) and the food is great - not your usual diner fare, but tasty cuisine that fits the ambiance. The wait staff are pleasant and helpful even going out of their way to be accomodating.

Sure the Armview Restaurant and Loung or Armview Diner as I call it, is slightly out of the way for some, but really it's worth the trip.

I went here for lunch and must say I was pleasantly surprised. They were friendly, quick and the food was good...not great, but good. I loved the atmosphere and the wine list had some refreshing choices that you don't see everywhere. As you can tell by their name they also have a brewery in-house...with all the usual suspects for choices.

I like going into this store. It feels good, they have fresh inventory that you can't find in other stores and they are focused on being as environmentally friendly as possible.

This location of Rona is relatively new and still have a few kinks to work out, but otherwise it's a great spot.

I admittedly don't even know if they have rooms, but the Jazz and the beer on top are both fantastic. The Rex Hotel is close enough to Yonge St that even the tamest tourist wouldn't mind the walk and if you are into live Jazz this is the place to go. Check it out next time you're in TO on a conference and have a few late night hours to kill

Frans is a good standard diner - no frills and open late. Big menu too!

I worked with Glen of Fawcett's Fine Jewellery to design my wife's engagement ring and our wedding bands and he was amazing. Professional and understanding of a poor guy who only knew what he wanted when Glen produced it in wax for me to see.

I actually look forward to working with him again - which is amazing given jewelery buying doesn't rank that high on my list of things to do for fun.

The owners of this little gem always know what I want...and the quality is great. Sure it's not the cheapest lunch in town, but they always have specials and they have an extensive menu so I am sure there is something for the budget conscious.

Another benefit of Momoya is you can get in and out well within an hour and I've often been able to pull off 30 minute lunches.

I always fill up here because the staff are generally friendly, the place is clean and they have a carwash...what more could you ask for in a car wash?
