This past Christmas, I was searching for nylons/tights with a holiday pattern - something fun, like snowmen or holly or candycanes, whatever. So I went to Sock It To Ya and asked the salesgirl if they had any. She replied "no," and then repeatedly tried to sell me one of their plain-coloured pairs... so I could DRAW a pattern on them! Excuse me? Pay 10 bucks (or more) for tights and draw on them with a marker??? Talk about being desperate for a sale. In the end, I went to Ardene and bought 5 pairs for 5 bucks. It's obvious where I'll be going from now on...
