So the Waldorf Astoria is obviously an iconic and historical spot - but they certainly don't rest on their laurels. We had a 3 day trip to New York and found their service and the quality of their rooms to be superb.

We were moved and upgraded to a suite on their 28th floor (in the Towers) which was great - although I'm sure the views from higher up would be awesome.

The price was a little higher than other hotels that we've used in Mahattan - but the quality of service was well worth it. Its a boutique hotel in every sense of the word and we'd go back in a heartbeat!
