I always like to go to Trident to meet friends and talk. The ambiance is perfect. The sound of steam for hot lattes and cappuccinos lulls you into serenity. Lots of tables to set your cups on and wireless for your laptop if you are by yourself. I must say the selection of teas is extensive. I especially love the Roi boos. It's a nice change from coffee. They also have an extensive selection of books to browse if your eyes are tired from staring at a computer screen. Check out the original tin ceiling. Take your time while you are at Trident and savour the location.

If you are sick of Tim Horton's and looking for GOOD coffee try this place out. Their house blend(medium roast) is superb.I have pretty much tried all the coffee stores in town and this one would be right at the top of the list. Even though I have never sat inside, but it's got a great old times feel to it.

The Trident is perfect for having a good cuppa coffee (including fair trade) or an interesting blend of tea while perusing row upon row of second-hand books. I never feel rushed, and even if the tables are mostly full, the clientele are happy to share their space. It's one of the few places I wish I could spend more time at.
