I kept hearing about this place and finally went to check it out. OMG - it's awesome! It's a very laid back and casual place, but the food and value and service are fantastic. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try, but I'm a sucker for anything with peanut butter or maple... so imagine my delight when I discovered the aptly named "Elvis," a buttermilk waffle sandwich with peanut butter, bananas, bacon and maple syrup! Perfect comfort food after a late night out. Currently, Coastal Coffee isn't open all day (just for breakfast/lunch), but apparently they'll be opening for dinner soon. And as you'd hope from their name, they make a great cup of coffee, and I love that all the mugs are different colours and sizes. This place really is a gem, and I'm jealous of the north-enders who live nearby (although if I lived any closer, I might be in danger of acquiring Elvis's belly!).
