I can't really review all the food but the chicken pad thai is wonderful. I would consider the pad thai to be the best in the city.

The staff are really friendly and always remember our order when we get there.

They're quick if you pop by for take out on the way home from work and they have friendly service! I'm obsessed with their Pad Thai- it's one of the best in the city (ask for extra peanut sauce, yummm!). I actually tried something new for once- Pad Se-ew; it's similar to Pad Thai but more veggies and no peanut sauce. I highly recommend that dish as well!

Thai food is wonderful! At one time Halifax had no Thai food restaurants. Now we have a great choice. Talay Thai serves a great selection of dishes. The old standby of Pad Thai is delicious whether it is with chicken or vegetarian. The Basil Tofu is so flavourful. The Masaman Curry is excellent. In fact almost every dish is great. I know you will enjoy the food and the service is great. Take out is fast and everything is well packed.

I had dinner here last night with a few of the girls. We had a delicious meal with a wide variety of options. I found the service was a bit slow at first but I attribute that to the fact that our reservation was for 6 and only 4 people showed. Once we told the server that we were not waiting for anyone else, the service was speedier. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to someone looking for Thai food. Four of us were able to eat for under $100.

The chef from Talay Thai left to open his own place earlier this year (ChaBaa) - but Talay Thai hasnt lost any of its appeal for me.

The food is still very flavourful, especially their Pad Thai and Green Curry.

Not the best Thai food I've ever had, but certainly very good all the same.

I ate here tonight with 5 others - here is a sample of what we ordered; Chicken Satay (tasty), Papaya Salad (very spicy), Pork Ribs (sweet and good), Spring Rolls and Pad Thai.

All six of us ate there for $140 dollars - reasonable price and good food.

Talay Thai has great atmosphere and great food, but the service can be slow. However, you get a lot of food for your money, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I hadn't gone there for awhile, but after reading the other reviews, I decided to get a takeout tonight, and it was just as good as I remembered. The cashew chicken is my favourite, but I also like the pad thai and thai fried rice. Overall I prefer Baan Thai and ChaBaa, but Talay's a solid third.

I personally like Thai food because it is close to the favor of Asian people. I had had dinner in this restaurant many times with my baby. They had a very good services and the food are very nice. Once I ordered a soup, it was a little salty because of the natural of the soup. But I felt it is too salty for me. Then, the server nicely changed the soup for me and made new one. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone if you like spicy Thai food.

I really enjoy Thai food and Talay Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in Halifax.

For under $15 I can always find an amazing Thai dish to satisfy my cravings.

A few of my favorite menu items are: cashew chicken, pad thai, basil prawn with chili paste, and many more.

I try to make it to Talay Thai at least once every two weeks, if I can wait that long.
