Taishan grocery is the newly Chinese grocery compared to the other ones. The features I like include: clean and clear shopping environment, variety of Chinese food which include some northern Chinese food, and some special fish if you can not get them in the superstore.

Taishan Asian Grocery on Queen Street in downtown Halifax. There are aisles devoted to a wide range of sauces, vinegars, cooking wines, noodles, spices and sweets. Walls of fridges filled with bok choy and other Asian vegetables, Chinese sausages (great for stir fries and soups), kimchi and other Asian delights. It’s a great place to shop and the staff are very knowledgeable and nice.
