Stayner’s is a place where I always feel welcome. They make very good food, especially the pan-fried haddock, and they also have excellent live entertainment (the likes of Charlie A’Court, Matt Anderson, and other local favourites). The staff are always friendly, and the service is consistent from visit to visit. It’s a very comfortable place to enjoy your leisure time.

I love the Wednesday lunch special at Stayner's: Montreal smoked meat. You can watch them slice the meat and assemble the sandwich right infront of you. Fresh and delicious! My other favourite meal is the hot pot. I like the big comfy booths there too.

This is a great place to eat whether you're in a hurry or have time to linger. I love their fish & chips and "mini meal" combos. It's also a great venue for live music, assuming you can get in! It can be a crowded hot-spot, but that's because it has so many regular customers.
