As previously stated, there are not much stores in this mall; but the food court is the main attraction. There is a large selection of all kinds of food; and there is seating for the huge daily lunch hour rush. Definitely a great and convenient location for the downtown area; but do not expect to spend hours in this "mall" on a shopping spree.

Tony is right, there aren't many stores but there is a good selection of food.

My fav is the Chinese food. Mainly because of the service and consistent food. The couple that run it are very friendly and I'm always greeted with "Hello Mr Jay!! Mr Jay special?"...and they always offer their daily newspaper to me to read while I eat.

It's nice to have a regular spot. It's like my "Cheers"...where everybody knows my name.

Unlike Jay and Tony, I don't go to Scotia Square specifically to eat (although I've been known to grab a takeout from Mamma Gratti's); but I do go there for a few shops that will save me a bus trip to the bigger malls further away, such as Reitman's (ladies clothing). It's also handy to have a Lawton's and Carlton Cards closeby, and the SmithBooks is actually quite good (even with special orders). The dollar store's okay - a bit on the dingy side, and most things cost more than one dollar - but you can usually find whatever you need in a hurry.

Scotia Square is a very convenient spot for "cheap" lunch. The Korean, Lebanese, and Chinese are some of the international foods you can find there. Of course, the major fast-food chains are also there: KFC, Quiznos, and a few pizza places.

But when it comes to stores, the selection is very limited. So as a mall, it's not that great.
