From local rumors, I was expecting this place to be a total rats nest, and the dancers to be hideous, disgusting creatures of the night. Yes, this place is a low-end local bar, but we don't go there for the environment, or the food. The bouncer reminded me of Lurch but with long hair. However, the dancers were not bad; lots of variety! There were only a few girls who really knew how to perform such as Cara (best stage show imo), and yes, there were a few older ladies, but all strip-clubs have them and I'm sure there are handfuls of customers who enjoy them. I went late Saturday night, didn't order food, but ordered drinks, which were reasonable. The only thing that was disappointing was that the prudish Nova Scotia laws decided to ban the "Lap Dance", so Ralph's legally can not offer lap dances anymore; they offer "private dances" were they dance on a stage a foot away from you while you watch. They don't dance on you, brush up against you, touch you, nothing. But they do have a really neat Shower room where you can watch your favorite dancer get all wet, and wash herself! lol :)

Yeah, so the strippers are a bit dirty, but they aren't that old. Maybe a little older than the average college girl, but still. Anyway, the only quarrel I have with Ralph's, is that they're no longer open in Sundays, which was my favorite day, given the lack of business in there... It was like having my own private show, for free. I give this place 5 stars for being the only place like it within reasonable busing distance in the HRM, -1 for closing on Sundays.

If you like dirty old strippers than this is just the place for you. Never tried the food, not that I actually would. In fact I haven't even been here in about 5 years. ... but i'm sure it's all the same, only the faces have changed.

I'd say it's right on par with some of the average strip clubs in Montreal.
