Formerly local Great Ocean, the Planet Organic in Halifax has a decent selection of organic and natural foods, supplements and lifestyle products, you can count on Planet Organic to carry what you're looking for, but that convenience comes with a heavy price tag - especially for meats and packaged goods - they're almost always priced higher than the same products available elsewhere.

An excellents selection of health foods and supplements. Often times they are over-priced and the same supplements or food items are being carried at Superstore for considerably less. I recently purchased a cleanse kit for $79 there and later found the excat same kit at Superstore for $65. It's worth shopping around for certain things. Their selection of spices and herbs is by far the best in the city and their staff is very knowledgeable.
