I love Pete's Frootique! They have the best panini sandwiches in the city! They also have a great smoothie bar, breakfast bar, salad bar, sushi section, to-go meals, and tons of unique products that you can't typically find in a regular grocery store. Prices are a bit higher than your average supermarket, but Pete's is an experience, and if you're looking for unique or organic ingredients, you'll most likely find them here.

Pete's is awesome. It's such an exotic niche little supermarket located in the Halifax Metro area. Their selection of fruits are the best around. The Dips are amazing, bagels..mmm. I can't say enough good things about Pete's.

We are lucky to have this little gem.

I like this store a lot, not only because they offer a variety of international food, Chinese, Indian, Italian etc. But also they have a very special and relax shopping environment, the piano is one of them. I always enjoyed the music the pianist played and felt very enjoying during the shopping. The prices for the special food are also very reasonable. I can get many kinds of fresh vegetables and fruit. The only thing is parking, since it is in down town, it is hard to find a parking space if you only want to buy a little stuff. But if you buy over 20 bucks, they offer free parking in the building.

Pete's has a lot of things going for it: the freshest produce, delicious meals-to-go, specialty groceries (like the Best of Britain), and even health supplements. It's true that some items are pricey, but I think you get what you pay for. I love that Pete himself always has time to answer questions, like how to use a certain funky looking fruit or deranged vegetable. And of course, the piano player adds to the spectacle of the shopping experience.

At Pete's, it's quality over quantity. Expect to find an exotic selection of foods and drinks, but of course, for an extra price.

Pete's also has a cafeteria section which is a popular lunch spot.
Custom made salads they way you like them, panini breads, soups, ice cream and shakes. Very delicious!

Pete's is carrying the best selection of organic foods in the city. Their prices are really good and they often have some local items. Their bakery section (local bakeries) is amazing and always has fresh breads. I wish thei Bedford location carried organic foods.
