Peepshow has a great selection of edgy and elegant, funky, designer clothes, with a good helping of Canadian labels. Owned by the married owners of Freak Lunchbox (located next door), Erin and Jeremy Smith have done a fantastic job creating a unique, vivid boutique that caters to the needs, whimsy, and fashion personality of young, hip, fun, Haligonian fashionistas.

The store itself is a trip, with candy-striped walls, glitzy counters, moxy mannequins, and a dash of Moulin Rouge fancy.

Brands include Gentle Fawn, Fidelity Denim, Preloved, Wonderlust, Pink Spike, Perplex & Lola, Peach Berserk, Dace, Nylon by Dex, to name a few.

For a while they had an in-your face, "too helpful", super hyper elderly man (who wanted to be your best friend) as the store manager who made shoppers feel a bit like bolting after 10 seconds in the store, but I'm pretty sure he's gone now. The rest of the staff are super cool and chilled, so the service now gets full marks again.
