you cant because your teeth have just been yanked out! If you have to experience the pain and discomfort of dental surgery, then you might as well experience it at the hands of pros. The staff here were great. I hadn't had a tooth pulled in about 20 years. Everything was explained to me in detail twice (once by phone and once in person), and the staff made sure I had everything I needed (protective sunglasses to block out the bright dentist lights, kleenex to wipe away any tears, and an icepack to help with the swelling). I'm sure that if it weren't for the expertise of my surgeon, Dr. Marco, that I'd be in a lot worse shape.

I didn't like the hospital-esque atmosphere though, especially walking off the elevator right into the waiting room. The place didn't feel warm or help me to be calm. Then again, it might not be possible to be calm before dental surgery! I do have to go back again for more torture, I mean extractions, but now I won't be nearly as nervous. |

Addendum: I changed the rating from 4 to 5 because they followed up with a phone call the next day to see how I was feeling. Bravo!
