I was visiting Halifax recently and realized I required a more sturdy baby carrier than the sling I was using. I found Nurtured in the yellow pages and went there immediately. I found the store easily and was very impressed with all of the products they carried. This store is great for all of those attachment parents and anyone who is interested in purchasing organic and baby safe products. Cloth diapers, wooden toys, baby carriers, organic blankets, etc. I wish I could find a store like this near me in Toronto! The prices seemed to be consistent with what I would pay in Toronto. I tried out two different carries (ERGObaby and Beco) and the clerk let me try both out with my baby in them for about 30 minutes for each one, every way the carrier could be worn, the clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable about both carriers.
This store is great, good for buying gifts for baby showers, a must for any new parent in the city to check out.
