The Metropolitan is part of the Doubletree chain, and this location didn’t disappoint. The rooms were simple but elegant, with all the standard conveniences, and the hotel itself has many additional services and features (gym, store, salon etc.). The hotel is also within walking distance of shopping, Broadway and Central Park, and there were lots of great places to eat nearby too. We definitely enjoyed our stay here, but I have since stayed at another hotel in NYC (the Park Central) that I like even better.
