I love going to Maxwell's Plum before a mooseheads game or even a night on the town. It has a real pub atmosphere that is very hard to find in Halifax, especially when competing with the "clubs" down town where you get pat down and need to follow a certain dress code. This place has amazing staff and service and more beers than you can shake your mug at! Plus they have the brewtender, which keeps you from getting up an down for another beer, they only time you have to get up when drinking the brewtender is to go to the bathroom. I would recommend Maxwell's Plum to anyone who wants some good pub grub and also have a good time with friends!

Its a nice pub if you wanna have a few drinks with your friends.Nothing fancy or classy about it,but they don't pretend to be one either.Nice spot for watching live games in big screen televisions.Try their daily specials, the Steaks on Mondays are not bad. One thing I miss though is the complimentary peanuts and their shells all over the floor.
