I came here in late April and was disappointed. Many of the flowers weren't in bloom (rose garden was a complete write-off), few of the ponds/water features were filled (Chinese garden was full, Japanese was being filled, others were not), and the train/transport car was not in service (doesn't start until the middle of May).

Having said that, the Japanese/Chinese gardens were still very nice, and the alpine garden seemed to be fully functional as well.

The outdoor gardens are free to walk around in, but you must pay to see the greenhouses. The greenhouses made this out of season visit worthwhile. Lots of nice plants/flowers here, including pineapple plants!

I have been to this garden years ago. It is a very nice and big garden compare to the one I visited in US. There are many decorations to fit different scenarios. Also tons of different plants and flowers. I liked those.

There is a free car that traveling through the garden, so if you are tired at any point, you can jump on to the car to save your energy.
