When I first went to the farmer's market years ago, I was so surprised and happy to see that there is this kind of market in Halifax, I thought we only have supermarket. I really like this kind of market where you can a lot different kinds of fresh vegetables, eggs, and meat, especially you can get some fresh international vegetables. It is so nice.

Also you can get some handicrafts by the local artists. They are very nice gifts to your friends whether they are in Halifax or not.

Nestled within the nooks and crannies of the Keith's brewery, the market boasts fresh local produce (with organic options), baked goods, dairy and meat products, flowers, crafts and other seasonal delights. It's the best one-stop-shop for local goods, and is a great meeting place. It's also nice to develop a rapport with your favourite vendors, most of whom will take special requests. It's my favourite place to go on Saturday mornings.
