It seems that this "dacharle" person has submitted slanderous review against Genji in many other review sites.

This restaurant is always busy, even on weekdays. Their sushi/sashimi area is so clean that we like watching the chefs to prepare the sushi and sashimi.

Hey, dacharle, which restaurant you own or are related to? I will make sure that I don't go to your restaurant. This is so unprofessional!

My wife and I have dined Genji several times over the last year and up until the last time the food (as well as the service and atmosphere) was very good. However, the last time we eat there my wife got food poisoning (from the sashimi - I didn't eat any fish and thus was spared a weekend of being ill) - we contacted the owner and although he seemed concerned at the time he never contacted us again as he said he would.

I liked the food - but I think the place has been hyped up so much I was expected so much more.

I had the salmon teriyaki which was cooked just right - also the prices were very reasonable. It's billed as a 'high end' Japanese restaurant - but I wasn't impressed.

My only problem I was expecting to be 'wowed' and I wasn't because of all the hype this place has received. Sorry :(
