I love this store! This is the hotspot for art supplies in Halifax. Although my main interest is painting, Ive often gone crazy splurging in other sections of the store from beautiful stationery to funky magnet-making to my all-time favourite pens. Its nice to shop where the staff knows who you are, and are excited to tell you about the latest products they know youll like. Most of the staff are artists or art students, and they never recommend something they wouldnt use themselves. Even if you dont think you have a creative bone in your body, youll probably develop a talent as soon as you walk through the door - this place oozes fun and imagination! And, they are expert framers too. I wouldnt trust any other place to frame important artwork or photos. If it's possible for a store to change your life, then that's what I'd say about Loomis (now DeSerres).
