I stayed at the Delta Barrington last week for the first time. One of the great things about this place is how it's connected to many different areas of downtown Halifax via pedways. This means that you don't have to venture outside if the weather is cold.

The rooms at the Delta were quite nice. The price was even better...$99. You just can't beat that price for the level of quality.

In the morning I decided to order some room service. Not expecting much I placed an order for a continental breakfast. It showed up in 10 minutes and was on par with some of the better breakfast spots in Halifax.

If I ever need to spend another night in downtown Halifax, this is where I'm headed.

This hotel is great in so many ways. It’s location is within walking distance of the entire downtown area! The service was stellar. From the bellman to the Front Desk to Housekeeping to Room Service - everyone was pleasant, cheerful and appreciative of our stay. Our room was very roomy with a king bed, couch, 2 chairs, coffee table, desk, amoire, etc. The washroom was spacious and very well stocked with great shampoos, lotions,etc. The hottub is huge and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and large enough to swim laps. We also used the exercise room which had a large selection of equipment to use. The room was lit by natural light, via the atrium. The Scotia Mall, Citadel and Halifax Metro Centre are all on the same block as the hotel. We will definitely stay at the Delta Barrington again.
