I often browse through CD Plus when I'm taking a leisurely weekend stroll. They have a great mix of new & used CDs, DVDs and even vinyl. I've also brought CDs in to sell to them, and they give a good rate. The store also looks much better and is easier to navigate now that they've changed the layout.

CD Plus has the usual hit and miss selection of used products (also see Random Play across the street). However where CD Plus excels is in the extras: they sell some vinyl, have a good selection of newer titles, and also have a great selection of harder to find DVDs. The only store I've ever seen selling the awesome TV Carnage -- they also seem to focus on stocking good quality DVDs rather than just all the most popular titles (which most people will get from the usual suspects anyway so its a good tactic).

Overall I think they do what an indie store should do -- be indie. However they manage to pull it off without seeming quite as seedy as the others (although still moderately seedy).
