3 Reviews for Casa Loma
the tragic story behind the building and the builder's attempts to make it a voluminous castle attract many tourists worldwide to visit this place. One can really learn something about early 20th century Canada from the short movie and don't forget to take some pictures in the beautiful gardens. Plus, go through the tunnel you will find a stable and a game place where you can practice your shooting skills.
Casa Loma is a medieval-style castle, which was once the home of renowned industrialist Henry Pellatt. There are many incredible rooms to explore, with ornate decorations and furniture, and the gardens are equally impressive. There's also a great view of Toronto from the turrets. We used to go on school trips to Casa, but now as an adult, I enjoy and appreciate the history and beauty of it even more.
This is an impressive castle; the gardens are very beautiful. You are given an audio tour guide, so you can go through the place at your own pace and learn about the history. The underground "tunnel" leading to the unfinished pool was cold, wet and kind of creepy!
