Bob's Taxi

Based on my first and only experience with Bob's Taxi, I can't say enough good things.
After returning a rental van in Dartmouth one windy, rainy Saturday afternoon, we wanted to get back to Halifax. We walked a few blocks to the nearest bus stop, only to discover than none of those routes run on the weekend! We tried to call various cab companies, but the lines were busy, so we started walking...
Every few minutes, I'd try calling again, and Bob's was the first company I could reach. By this point, we were tired, cold, hungry and soaking wet. We didn't really know where we were, so we gave the dispatcher a description of our surroundings. Sure enough, within a few minutes, we saw a cab inching along the street until he could see us. We were so relieved!
I wish I'd asked the driver his name because he was a really friendly old fella. He didn't mind that we were drenched (unlike some drivers at Casino who throw a hissy-fit if any water touches the seat), and he told us some jokes to cheer us up. What he didn't know was that we'd just spent 8 hours moving furniture and didn't think we could move another muscle. All we wanted to do was get home, and Bob's came to the rescue in the middle of nowhere.
